Dialyzer Reprocessing System

The Renaclean+ Dialyzer Reprocessing System can be used to reuse dialyzers with great safety upto 10-12 times. The inbuilt pressure test ensures membrane integrity by rejecting any dialyzer with even the slightest membrane leak and the volume test ensures Dialyzer efficiency by rejecting any dialyzer with less than 80% bundle volume. These safety protocols ensure that there is never any compromise made with the quality.

We offer the Renaclean+ Dialyzer Reprocessing System in 2 formats. One is the single station and another in the double station. The machine comes with an inbuilt printer to print the result of each reprocessing for validation of dialyzer reuse data. It also comes with the memory to store the data of over 1000 patients. The double station reprocessing machine can reprocess 2 dialyzers simultaneously in under 12 minutes.

The Dialyzer reprocessing system has been manufactured for the first time in India at our state of the art factory in Dehradun.

Need

We understand that it is best if dialyzers are used only once per dialysis. At the same time we understand that this is a very difficult feat to achieve in emerging countries. It is imperative to reduce the cost per dialysis to make it affordable for people across all income levels. So we try to make it safe to reuse dialyzers to reconcile the two facts stated above.

In many centers and hospitals, dialyzers are cleaned manually and reused. This can be very dangerous. Without the right safety protocols in place, dialyzers can be contaminated if reused. Without validating the dialyzers efficacy, the process of dialysis can fall short of its very purpose.

The Renaclean+ Dialyzer Reprocessing System uses a comprehensive reverse UF technique to clean the dialyzers. The machine rejects any dialyzer that is unfit for use and cleans the dialyzers that are fit to use in a precise and tested way that cannot be achieved by manual cleaning. Once this is done, the patient data is stored and can be verified anytime. The data can be transferred easily via email so it can be monitored remotely to ensure the dialyzers used are validated.

Advantages

How we ensure quality?
Renaclean+ subjects each dialyzer through a stringent testing process to ascertain its reusability. If the dialyzer fails even one test, it is tagged "REJECT".

Pressure Test for Membrane Integrity
During the process, each dialyzer is pressure tested. Even if a slight membrane leak is detected, the dialyzer is rejected, thereby preventing loss of blood and bacterial contamination.

Volume Test for Dialyzer Efficiency
To further ensure quality and patient health, the dialyzer is subjected to a volume test. This ensures adequacy of Dialysis by rejecting Dialyzers with less than 80% bundle volume.

Printed Results and Patient Database for Validation and Analysis
The result of each reprocessing is printed by the built in DOT MATRIX printer. The printed results are used for validation of dialyzer reuse data. The database of 100 patients can be saved in a pen drive for further analysis. Printer accommodates adhesive labels for easy and convenient application on dialyzers.

New Features
NEW GENERATION RENACLEAN+ REPROCESSING SYSTEM

We have recently added a list of optional add-ons for the Renaclean+ Dialyzer Reprocessing System to make it even more seamless to use, ensure data integrity and make it easy to transfer patient data.

Earlier, centers and hospitals had to input patient data manually and attach a pen drive to each individual machine to store the data of each patient. Now we have a barcode scanner to input patient data. This eliminates human error almost completely. Our new generation of Reprocessing machines and the tablet are Bluetooth enabled, so data from each reprocessing machine in the Dialysis center automatically gets collected and stored on the tablet. The data of up to 1000 patients can be stored on the tablet and can be transferred anywhere using email almost instantly. This makes it easy to monitor validation of dialyzers used and also monitor and forecast use of disinfectant. It enables the dialysis hospitals/chains to monitor the number of reuses of the dialyzer across the centres at various locations.
